Meta launches Muse personal AI agent in Singapore

Muse's arrival in Singapore is Meta's latest step in taking its consumer agent international. Meta markets Muse as 'the world's first personal AI agent built for everyone,' and Singapore — a wealthy, English-speaking, highly connected market with high social-app penetration — is a natural early expansion target.
Muse is the consumer face of the strategy run out of Meta Superintelligence Labs, whose Muse Wonder frontier models anchor the product. Unlike chat assistants, Muse is pitched as an agent that acts on users' behalf across Meta's apps and services, which puts it in the same category race as Apple's memory-enabled Siri and xAI's Grok Bot, both of which gained new agent capabilities this week.
The expansion also gives context to Meta's financing. A company raising up to $95B in equity needs consumer products that turn compute into engagement and, eventually, revenue. Each new market adds users to justify that spend, and Singapore's regulatory environment is relatively predictable for AI services compared with the EU.
Caveats: Meta's announcement does not disclose usage numbers, feature differences by market, or pricing. Watch for which agent actions are enabled locally, how Meta handles personal data under Singapore's PDPA, and the next markets on the rollout list.
