OpenAI and Malta partner to give every citizen ChatGPT Plus free for a year

OpenAI signed a landmark deal with the government of Malta to provide all Maltese citizens and residents with free access to ChatGPT Plus for one year, conditional on completing an AI literacy course developed by the University of Malta. The 'AI for All' program is the first country-wide rollout of a frontier AI subscription as public infrastructure.
