Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR) integrated OpenAI's ChatGPT and xAI's Grok into its certified-AI ecosystem, building on infrastructure first launched with Anthropic's Claude. Clients can issue natural-language prompts to research historical metrics, dissect macro patterns and programmatically generate transaction instructions — for example flagging positions with RSI above 70 (overbought) or below 30 (oversold) and structuring hedges.

The notable expansion is in asset class breadth: where early agentic-execution experiments across fintech were limited to public equities and ETFs, IBKR now extends to options contracts, commodities futures and futures options.
