GPT-6.1 Terra rolls out to ChatGPT, Codex, the API and Bedrock

Terra is the mid-tier model in OpenAI's lineup. It stretches usage allowances further than GPT-6.1 Sol or GPT-6 Astra. It became generally available on Amazon Bedrock the same day; AWS's Matt Wood said that for agents, speed and cost 'compound.'

In LlamaIndex's ParseBench document-parsing tests, Terra ranks 5th, at roughly 1 cent per page. Jerry Liu said it 'spikes' on tables but is weaker on layout and charts.
