Google, Microsoft and xAI agree to US government pre-deployment AI reviews

Google DeepMind, Microsoft and xAI will let the Commerce Department's Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) evaluate frontier models before public release. The White House also briefed Anthropic and OpenAI on a possible executive order, reportedly triggered by Anthropic's 'Mythos' model.
