Microsoft ends OpenAI revenue-share as exclusive alliance unwinds

Microsoft confirmed it will stop paying OpenAI a share of its revenue, the latest unwind of the once-exclusive partnership. Sam Altman simultaneously announced OpenAI is now free to make products available across all clouds, while continuing to supply Microsoft with models and a (reduced) revenue share through 2032.
