Samsung launches AI-powered Health Assistant in US beta

CNET reports Samsung Health now includes an AI-powered personal health assistant in US beta, designed to pull together health data scattered across apps and wearables into a single, actionable view. It's Samsung's bid to make its health ecosystem the interpretive layer rather than just a data collector, competing with Apple's health ambitions.

The launch coincides with Samsung's second Unpacked of 2026 on July 22, expected to showcase advanced foldables and enhanced AI, placing it in a crowded launch window alongside OpenAI, xAI and others.
