YouTube opens AI deepfake likeness detection to all adult creators

YouTube extended its Likeness Detection tool — which scans for AI-generated face-swap deepfakes — to all creators 18 and older, dropping the prior YouTube Partner Program restriction. Smaller channels can now file takedown requests against deepfaked videos of their faces directly from YouTube Studio.
