Daniel Moreno-Gama has been arrested and charged federally after traveling from Texas to California with alleged intent to kill Sam Altman. On April 10, he threw a Molotov cocktail at Altman's home and attempted to breach OpenAI headquarters. A second attack occurred Sunday morning with a shooting incident at Altman's Russian Hill residence, with two additional suspects arrested.
