Google DeepMind launches bioresilience program with Isomorphic Labs for pathogen surveillance

Google DeepMind announced a bioresilience program in partnership with its drug-discovery sister company Isomorphic Labs, marking a significant expansion of AI into biosecurity. Per Axios, the initiative targets three capabilities: improving pathogen surveillance, accelerating the design of vaccines and therapeutics, and strengthening outbreak response for governments and researchers. Google cited more than 15 partnerships and said it is broadening access to its AI models and agents for trusted partners.
