OpenAI rolls out Advanced Account Security for high-risk ChatGPT users

OpenAI introduced Advanced Account Security, an opt-in mode that replaces passwords with passkeys and hardware keys, shortens sessions, swaps recovery flows for backup passkeys, and excludes conversations from training. Targeted at journalists, dissidents, and officials.
