DeepSeek Harness hits 1.54M daily users and adds Creator Mode for plain-English plugins

Harness is DeepSeek's open-source agent platform, and the usage figures put it among the largest agent products globally. The platform serves 1.54M daily actives and 5.48M monthly, and processes roughly 92 trillion tokens per day. Production traffic runs on DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash, while V4.1-Pro is in testing.
Creator Mode lets users describe a plugin in natural language and have the system build it. Users talk only to a main agent, which then coordinates with sub-agents. Chinese developers on X praised this inter-agent dialogue model and are asking for an official plugin marketplace.
The open-source stance contrasts with Meta's closed Conductor acquisition and with proprietary harnesses from US labs. DeepSeek also open-sourced Super-Agent, a proactive coding assistant that suggests changes based on team communications.
Caveats: the usage numbers come from secondary outlets rather than an official DeepSeek release. Watch for a marketplace launch.
