The tool is rebuilt from Gemini and deliberately designed to guide students through reasoning rather than simply hand over answers — a pedagogically important distinction that addresses the common critique that chatbots enable shortcut-taking.

The study reported not just narrow test-score gains but substantial generalized learning and high student engagement, and noted the tool empowered teachers with fresh explanations and enabled more personalized interactions. Conducted in a low-resource education setting, the results are a meaningful data point for AI's potential to expand access to quality instruction where teachers are scarce.
