ChatGPT web share falls from 78% to 54% as Gemini triples to 27%

Similarweb data shows ChatGPT's share of AI chatbot web traffic fell from 77.6% to 53.7% in 12 months. Google Gemini was the biggest winner, leaping from 7.3% to 26.7% — the sharpest competitive erosion ChatGPT has faced.
