OpenAI unveiled Daybreak, an AI vulnerability-detection and patch-validation platform positioned against Anthropic's Mythos/Glasswing, alongside GPT-5.4 Cyber. The launch coincides with two lawsuits alleging ChatGPT helped plan a Florida mass shooting and gave a college student fatal dosing advice.
