xAI rebuilds from scratch under Musk, hires top Cursor and Mistral talent post-SpaceX merger

After all 11 original co-founders departed, xAI is being rebuilt from the ground up. New hires include Andrew Milich and Jason Ginsberg (who scaled Cursor to a $2B revenue run rate) and Mistral co-founder Devendra Chaplot. SpaceX acquired xAI in February in an all-stock deal valuing the combined entity at $1.25T.
