The Pentagon added Gemini 3.1 Pro to its GenAI.mil platform amid soaring DoD AI usage, even as Google researchers publicly pushed back on military AI deployment following the recent Anthropic-Pentagon dispute. Macquarie Bank separately reported saving 130,000 hours in seven months on Gemini Enterprise.
