Red Hat Summit broadens agentic AI strategy with inference, automation and sovereignty updates

At Red Hat Summit 2026 in Atlanta, IBM's Red Hat unveiled new agentic AI inference, automation, and sovereignty capabilities, extending Linux and containers into software-defined vehicles and space. HPE separately announced a unified private cloud stack with AI-ready storage and cyber-resilience updates aimed at making enterprise data environments AI-workload ready. Both moves target the enterprise-sovereignty corner of the agentic-AI market.
